Ok I found something I have no clue about! Was searching through every compartment for something I had stowed and taped to the back wall inside my glove compartment was a key! Not a standard key but a round type that doesn’t seem to fit anything I can find. Any ideas on what it is?
I'm going to take your guys word on the shaft length. My dealer put 60" on the order, so I'll get it changed. I wont be seeing anytime in the next month anyway according to the backorder problems.
Congrats on the the boat! Right place at the right time.I just got extremely lucky. The short of it is I initially put down a deposit on a 210 FSH Sport at a south Florida dealer back in August. For reasons I won't detail here (this is a happy post) I cancelled with that dealer and decided to go big or go home for my next attempt. Went to my local dealer two weeks ago and they said no way I'd get a 2021 model, but they put me on a list for when the 2022s are announced. I got a call last Thursday that they received an unexpected 2021 252 FSH Sport and gave me first dibs since I was on their list for that model. They had just taken off the shipping cover when I arrived so everything was dusty from the factory and not everything was assembled. It's a beautiful boat and I take delivery next Tuesday. I can't wait to get it on the water.
Congrats on the the boat! Right place at the right time.
It does get me more pissed at Yamaha, though. So much for filling customer orders first.
It almost seems random how Yamaha is building/delivering boats. I saw similar stories when I had a 210 FSH ordered. Plus it seems Yamaha has near zero transparency to the dealers when it comes to giving updates.Congrats on the the boat! Right place at the right time.

I'm kind of thinking this might be a must on the boat. Not sure why they didn't include a wireless charger for the phone holder in the first place. Anyone have any experience with these or a reason why it wouldn't be a good idea to swap it out?
