Same here man. Original ship date was yesterday! Which Monday it changed to the 22nd Tuesday. Still no word if it shipped or what.

I was thinking about those as my first upgrade since I'll be doing lots of low speed maneuvering in the Indian River. Sounds like they're well worth it.

Can anyone tell me how the 252 handles in the open Atlantic. I live on the NC coast and getting really close to placing an order for a 2022. Any insight is greatly appreciated.

I picked mine up today. I went out with the dealer to give me a tutorial on everything. Love the boat. I can’t wait for the weekend so I can take it for a proper day on the water.

That’s what my dealer told me today during the demo ride. He said another transducer is required for side scan to work.

A few of us have gotten it to work with 1 transducer by mounting on the horizontal angle of the ride plate with a drop of a few inches, to just about even with the keel.

The 252/255 comes with a through hull installed. A second transducer would be needed for side scan. There is no adjustments that can be made to the original transducer.

Oh, right, that makes sense. I was thinking they meant the only way to do it was with a thru hull pair or something like that. Got it!

I want to add a throttle lock to the 252. On my AR195 you had to depress a lever in the handle to initially move the throttle, there’s nothing on the 252 FSH. I’m surprised Yamaha let the 252s go through without one, anyone have any ideas?

Finally my number is up, getting my 252 next week! I got the last one according to my dealer.

I got my 255 today and immediately got it out on the gulf. To say I was blown away is an understatement. The thing just cuts through surf like a hot knife through butter. Had it out in the gulf in 1-2' and not a single drop of water on the windshield. Took it back water through some of the 10,000 islands and was gliding over backwater with the fish finder showing 1.7 ft. Love it!!!
