I’m looking to see if anyone has a master list of air filters brands and part numbers that will work for the TR-1 engines. I have seen the Yamaha branded, paper style filter and the K&N filter from Riva but nothing else. I even had Napa check today and they don’t have anything listed. $50 or so just seems crazy for that little filter.

I’m doing a 50 hr service and changed the spark plugs and will do the oil with the Yamaha kits tomorrow but I didn’t buy everything all together. Now I see why the complete kit costs $290. I would leave the filters alone but it seems like they were not bright white and I suspect they might have some oil on them based on the smell and the feel of the filter element. Checked oil cold and on the trailer and it was about halfway above the low line. Thanks in advance!

I bought a set of RIVA gauze style.

When you check the oil you are supposed to run the engine for 5 mins either on the water or on the hose to get a correct reading.

I did the same as FSH210, Bought the K&N style from Riva. All my vehicles run K&N filters so i have plenty of cleaner and oil in stock.
