Battery powered and hard wired LED tow point mount

@jeremy0011 do you have adapters and lights available for an 08 ar230? Preferably hard wired.

Disregard or delete I realized it is for the newer tower I have the plastic mount on mine. Sorry.

I just bought the Navisafe light and tapped ( threaded hole ) into the factory disc up top, just at a forward offset. Works great!!

You can also drill and tap the center bolt to attach the Navisafe led. I have the bolts if you need assistance.

Are Navisafe only Battery powered though?

Thanks fellas. I just despise that stern pole light lol.

Don't let the battery operated part bother you. It works great and I just keep it in the glove box when it's not being used...along with an extra set of batteries just in case.CIMG1761.jpg CIMG1763.jpg CIMG1747.JPG

@jeremy0011 . . . . I never mounted the one I have for the hard wired light. . . will it work with the battery operated one? I barely ever am out at night and really don't feel like running wires through the tower. ( I know I'm lazy )

@jeremy0011 are you still interested is selling these through our site?

Yes it will work but you need to add a brass bushing to accept a 10-32 screw. Or send it back and I'll do it for free. Let me know what you want to do.

@jeremy0011 - I'm sure I can do it, where can I get the brass bushing needed? Also, is there a specific model for the Navisafe light I should be looking at?

How and where can I buy this adapter?

I was concerned about the review as well. I've had mine for a year and have no issues. The unit feels solid and I really like the magnetic base. Just turn the light on, pop it on the base and you're all set. I don't feel that in normal conditions the light would come off the base.

Some of the negative reviews are related to things I don't see being a problem for my use. For example, I don't care if it floats. I have no intention of dropping it in the water. I also don't plan to leave mine out in the elements, but to just use it when I need it. Mine lives in the cup holder most of the time. We boat at night for a few hours almost every weekend and I'm still on my first set of batteries. There were also a couple reviews noting that it didn't work at all... you have to push and hold the button for a couple seconds. ;)

No need to type anything, but Ditto. Going out on Tuscaloosa this weekend?
