Good heads up. I guess any local Goodyear or Firestone could do it as long as it will fit through the door. Definitely a hassle but nice that they've replaced them. Shouldn't have to incur out of pocket costs but nature of the beast I guess. If anyone has received the new fender brackets please post your opinions if it's a different or the same bracket...I don't intend to replace it with an identical piece. It'll only happen again.
So based on what I'm reading, this appears to only affect the trailers with the diamond plated wheel wells (212 and 240/242 trailers). Is that correct?
I checked my trailer (just plastic wheel fenders) and didn't see any issues with the bracket failing or cracking.

Not sure exactly which trailers are affected but I would recommend checking your trailer sticker for the tire requirement and verify you have the correct tires on the trailer. If not you should file a claim to get the correct tires.
This does appear to be only a Shoreland'r trailer issue not sure exactly which trailers. Mine was a 2015 model year and had the diamond plated wheel well coverings.
I also received 5 Carlisle radial tires today. Just finished writing my letter of appreciation to the claim agent at Carlsgroup (Rhonda) who handled my case. I think they have a new customer for my future tire needs.
My tires came today. Must say I will be a customer of Carlisle tires for life for doing this. Rhonda was my service rep also. Checking out the treads on my lawn tractor
Rhonda helped me too. She must have been busy lately. I got the radials mounted and balanced friday and drove an hour and a half to the dealership to get the new fenders put on. It drove like a dream. It felt like nothing was back there. The difference is significant.
Holly cow. I feel for you guys that are having this vibration issue. I'm surprised that somebody hasn't come up with a better fender/bracket by now for you guys.
Calling now. She is telling me its not their problem they don't have radial tires as the trailer sticker states it should. They dont put the tires on the trailer they just sell them.
After holding she took my email to send the forms over to me for a warranty claim.

@john94si I can only assume that Carlisle has reached their breaking point on this. If you are experiencing vibrations such that one or both of your fenders are blurry in your side mirrors, then I'd suggest that you have a problem. If not, and if you have no cracks on your fenders or brackets, then you're probably ok. If not, then you should contact Shoreland'r about the issue(s). If they don't respond in a responsible manner, then go this route:NHSTA 1-800-327-4236
If I had not experienced any problems, I would not have called. This is not about getting free tires; it's about righting a wrong. If you have problems, then they should be addressed.
Sincerely,
MrMoose
