Hi Everyone!
I'm new to the forum, and I'm hoping someone here can help me out. I have a 2000 Duckworth Discovery V-8 Legend boat. I'd like to mount my new GT56UHD-TM transducer in the back, but I'm not sure about where? I don't think I can mount it under center and I think it can be mounted onto the plate there at the starboard stern. Any help would be appreciated!

Also, will I have any issues with the transducer working there? I'm new to the fishfinder world, so any thoughts or advice is greatly appreciated!!!

I spoke with the Garmin folks, and they didn't have anything for me...other than it might rip off if the bow of the boat is too far out of the water. I don't know if this is true as this boat sits very level when up to speed (30 - 40 mph).

Thanks again.IMG_3106.jpgIMG_3107.jpeg

Looks like those brackets are there specifically to mount a transducer to.

Does the transducer not have instructions as to where to mount it?

This is how mine is mounted, and a lot of people have them mounted this way.
