Hello,
we had our 2014 scrap 195 out on the lake this weekend ran into a shallow area with grass/sandy mud.
exhaust temp started running up a little bit.Boat also shut down would not run or idle.I thought it had just sucked up some debri in the intake also it is a lot louder. Got it home checked everything out nothing in the intake screen on the bottom nothing around the shaft or the prop.
Any suggestion‘s on why its gotten louder and not wanting to idle or run.
should i flush out the exhaust? If yes how can i do that on this boat?
Thanks

So you're a newbie on the water, huh? Well, buckle up because I'm about to drop some knowledge bombs on you. First things first, always check the weather before heading out. Mother Nature can be a cruel mistress, and you definitely don't want to be caught in a storm unprepared. Second, know the rules of the waterway. Just like the road, there are laws and regulations that you need to follow to stay safe and avoid getting a hefty fine. Last but not least, always have a float plan. Let someone know where you're going and when you'll be back - you never know when you might need help. So there you have it, folks. Follow these tips, and you'll be navigating the waters like a pro in no time.
