Hi all.
How do you replace the fore mentioned bearing? I am probably going to get a service manual to verify but how is it done? Do you remove the jet pump or move the engine? I searched and cant find anyone who has done this in a 190.
Details are helpful too :) thanks!

there is nothing in 9 pages I know there has been a lot of posts about that very item

Pull pump move engine forward remove entire housing and replace it then install pump and slide engine back in place do not unbolt the motor mounts from the hull when moving the engine forward un bolt them from the engine so you do not loose any of the shims under your motor mounts or you risk messing up the alignment of the engine you can buy the entire bearing housing ready to go from www.sbtontheweb.com

that is good to know and things like that can make or break an install - thanks for that and the other posts... :)

Thank you for all the prior post (good move on the motor mounts - I did not do that but was careful to not lose the shims) Hope this helps someone else -
