Lake Ouachita, AR Sept. 29 2018 //edited to new date because of weather //

Oh....and the flys were bad. Little bitty suckers that bite the hell out of you. I had a steady layer of off coating me.

what is a kentucky?

Last weekend really was the predicted downpour. The forecast for this week and the weekend are trending better.

The forecast is looking good.

@Scottintexas I have 2 questions....

1. it look like the weather will be cooperating ...?
2. Do we have a better idea on the schedule for Sunday ? Wake up, break camp and go for breafast before heading west or are we planing on spending time in the water ?

Weather looks really good No rain

I imagine sunday would be wake up
Pack up
Go to resort for breakfast and then take the boat out of the water around noon or one
I don't think we'll get in the water on Sunday

@Betik, @Scottintexas, @kthrash, I wanted to float an idea that we might pull the boats Sunday morning head back toward my house, drop them in Lake Hamilton and have brunch at Fisherman's Wharf or Bubba Brews?

This certainly is not necessary but would be an opportunity to explore two lakes in one weekend. The road travel will be on your way home, the boat travel is similar to the Mountain Harbor run. So the additional time would be limited to the extra launch and retrieval.

I'm good with whatever everybody wants to do,

I am just so bummed the trip didn't work out for us.

Flying solo would be my only option at this point, and there is nothing I can do about it - sure It would be nice! but pretty selfish... And, as anyone who's ever been married with children knows, at the end really not worth it!!! lol.

So true LOL
It is always “ oh sure you can go honey “ and then you end up paying later for it .

@swatski, @Betik is flying solo. If you join him it will be two guys on a ski!

Seriously if you want to come there is plenty of boat space but I know you want to take care of your daughter.

I'm flying solo as well. Bringing my 190FSH...
