Hi Kevin, we are CT River boaters south of you in Hartford area. We did NYC before but would like to do it again. If we get a beautiful day it’s possible the best boat trip on water. July 5th is because I have vacation time. Let’s see how many boats would like to go too.

If anyone would like to join us please do. Plans are to launch at Patsy’s Bay Marine around 10am on July 5th, Thursday, head south to NYC, Cruise the island take in sites. Lunch on the hook somewhere maybe towards Liberty Park area or possibly Chelsea Pier? Weather looks great hope more will join us.

It's a fun trip, I have never done it yet in the boat but tons of times on a ski, got to watch the train bridge going into the east river sometimes it's closed.
On ski and depending of the tide we could get under it but not in a boat.. We have launched from the GW Bridge, great ramp but could be rough
getting in and out with a boat. Patsy's Bay Marine (Jim) are great people!!!

This one sounds pretty interesting... I may be down to go, just looked on the map and its only about a 6.5 hour drive... and probably only like $95 in tolls. hahaha
