Has anyone purchased an Interior Protection coverage. Apparently covers rips, stains, discoloration for all treated surfaces for 5 years with replacement of new Yamaha factor leather. Less than $600. Worth it?

I did...Used it off shore in Grand Isle Louisiana last weekend, and low and behold there is an orange stain on the front starboard cushion. Didn't even have anything orange in the boat. So I'll let you know how that turns out.

I had it done on mine. It was a part of the ceramic package. I can’t give any meaningful feedback as I only have 10 hrs on the boat and have never had any problems keeping my boats clean. That said, I didn’t have any problems cleaning it up at the end of the season and didn’t notice any marks or stains either. As someone who often forgets about the screwdriver in his back pocket, this package gives me you peace of mind.

Less than $600? Probably worth it. Especially if you are going to use the boat a lot. Go onto a Yamaha dealers website and look at how much it costs to replace it..

Just be sure and read the fine print, especially the exclusions.

Be sure you get a good cover and keep the boat covered while not is use. Keep the upholstery clean and use a quality protectant… a lot of folks on here use 303, I use Star Brite Ultimate vinyl protectant, I also use that on my truck exterior and interior.
