One picture of your last outing.

Snuck out after work today for a surf with daughter number three. Just the two of us and not another boat anywhere; not surprising as it is Oct 1st but it did get up into the low 80s today here in the anti-Florida (aka Pacific Northwest).

I guess i have lived in the "south" too long now and have gotten soft... My wife was making fun of me the other day because i would go in the "cold" water...(it was 79 degrees)

Lookin good scuba_ref. Your suits look dry. Did you guys do a swim platform start to stay out of the water?

Correct, started on the platform and ended on the platform, never actually went in the water. My daughter did a water start...the water actually didn't feel too cold. Although @jlcj7 it never gets up to 79 degrees!

I'm afraid this might be the last pic of our final outing for 2015. Season was way too short....

Wow! Looking like a million bucks and ruler of all he sees.

Boating through those narrow passages looks awesome but also terrifying, too me anyway.

Sky shots of my last two outings. The first is at New Melones , the second at Lake Shasta (the boats in the pics are rentals).

Wow! Frickin hammerhead! Oh, yeah...and those shots of Powell are amazing. Definitely something I want to do someday.

Gulf of Mexico. Was able to pull up on a deserted stretch of beach owned by Eglin Air Force Base.

So glad I left the boat in the water...83deg today, but water is 63 so had some help from O'Neil to get that last wakeboarding in for the year. The lake was packed like an August Saturday!

Forecast for tomorrow is 57deg, plan to pull the boat out next Saturday :(

image.jpeg I consider anytime we are with the boat it is an outing.
Unfortunately it was this one truly last one till April.

Out on the Delta today. It was 95 outside and the water was 73. Drove 40-50 miles and saw several boats trolling for fish and one guy trying to wakeboard.

I took some co-workers out and in a bad parenting decision decided it was ok for the 3, 5, and 6 year olds to go on the tube by themselves because I was only going to put it in no wake mode. Well, the kids leaned too far forward and the nose of the tube went under and all three kids in the drink. Someone had to jump in and calm them down. Whoops. Next time an adult went with them. This photo was taken after the incident and my 3 year old still loves boating (disaster averted)

Oh forgot to screw in the plug at the ramp and was pulling away from the dock wondering why my bilge pump was working it. Had to jump in the water to screw it in. Forgot to take my shirt off.

Dang. Well, always remember, a bad day of boating is better than a good day at work.

Last day out at sand island on the Chesapeake bay. I winterized the boat today so I really mean that it is away this time. We are suppose to see a freeze this weekend.
