One picture of your last outing.

More than one pic, really a few during and after pics. The air temp was 98 yesterday and it was suppose to be a short pre-season shake down rim of the boat. My son called in sick when we got to the ramp (clearly we would not make it back in time for his shift). At that point my son wanted to make a mission of boating to get pizza and ice cream on the water. We burned a full tank of gas doing so. At about $200 for gas, pizza, ice cream and launch fees it was an expensive day but worth every penny and I got to spend it with my son and we took a few sloughs that he has never been on before. He also drove about half the time, on the water anyway.

I would do it all again at the drop of a hat and at twice the cost if necessary. It’s ironic that when I was younger I worried about running out of money now that I’m older I worry more about running out of time.

Lake Washington near Seattle on Thursday. We just past 20 hours on the motor. It's a very comfortable boat to hang out on anchor! Looking forward to lots of time on the boat this Summer.

About last weekend... Some stills from the GoPro footage

Started out crappy, but ended really nice! Figured the ramps would be empty since it was cloudy, and very windy. Sun wasn't supposed to come out until later in the day. Nope ramp was jammed already at 10am. Anywho we made it in, headed over to a cove that was protected from the wind, grilled some burgers, and kids swam a bit. Then we did a bunch of tubing, I did some surfing, and ended up seeing one of these 6 wheeled things on our way out. Never actually seen one in person. 20200531_155502.jpg20200531_113919.jpg20200531_113913.jpg

@suke Is that your old boat in the picture?

It was a great weekend on the lake but not for somebody. Near where we were swimming was two burned out boats. I could only find one news report that said a 911 call came in around 3:00 am on May 30th and they put the fire out. I would love to know how you burn two rather large boats at the same time end to end. They obviously burned while against the shore as the trees are burned.B82F530B-99EB-43AD-B420-5EA78D59A529.jpeg
