One picture of your last outing.

Got out to Blue Marsh today here in PA. The oldest was finally able to jump off the back of the boat for the 1st time. She’s been talking about it ever since we ordered the boat in March.

Desperate times call for desperate measures on the ride home. We had to pull out the big guns and bribe our small monsters in the back seat with McDonald’s

How was the water temperature? We were there the prior weekend and it was still pretty cold. Still didn't keep my kids from jumping in (teenagers).

Another one from last weekend.

out in the main areas it was about 77°-78°. In the cove we were swimming it was 80°. Not too shabby

We were rafted near a guy this weekend that asked me whether the Magma grill comes standard on Yamaha boats. I guess I can see why he asked that after I saw this picture of us.

Ah, nice good to know. The perfectly straight thing is money. I never realized how hard it is for someone to backup a trailer straight until watching my wife learn. I've been backing boat trailers since I was 14. Learned on a 2wd 2 door nissan, with manual transmission, and nothing power. That was interesting, but I learned quickly. My wife sat in the truck and watched me last time and she said it's just so effortless for you. I said welllll yeah but I've been doing it most of my life now.

We went boating with our neighbors (they have a 19' run about / single axle trailer) last weekend and we watched/waited/laughed at his wife at the ramp while she tried to back up straight. It was 100% the scene from Family Guy... by the time we pulled out I couldn't even contain the laughter.

First evening cruise now that I am working from home and have time. Hooked it up on lunch and headed straight out the door around 5:30. Got blocked in by an ambulance as I was launching the boat and they decided to just sit there for 10 minutes. I know the guy was hurt and cut his leg but I was thinking this will be the time I ended up on YouTube losing my truck because I can’t pull out at super high tide. Luckily they didn’t take long and I remembered to put the parking brake on and put it in park.

Additional fun, spent a bunch of money and effort this week replacing my Kenwood micro amp with a JL M400/4 only to listen to music at moderate volume most of the time, my navigation light stopped working (nice time to find this out at dusk after not checking it for the season), and then figured out that my transom head unit remote stopped working after I blew the budget on audio but decided to keep the stock head unit.

All that being said we still had a great time!

From this past weekend out on Peconic Bay, Eastern Long Island. Small raft up with my brother (26ft catamaran speed boat), my parents (47ft sunseeker) and our SX 195. Second photo is us trying to chase down my brother as he was pushing 90+ mph. Little windy, but nice day and first chance to see some family here in NY since coronavirus hit.

beautiful sunseeker. the dream.

Last weekend on the Hiwassee River in Charleston, TN. Got all the old graphics off the day before as they were starting to peel and looked terrible. Not sure if i like the look without any graphics or not. Going to send the boat for a full wet-sand and buff in a couple weeks! In Motion 1.JPGIn Motion 2.JPG
