The TR-1’s may not top out over 40mph and loses 2 mph with every couple on board

This isn't really the thread, and I don't mean to hijack, but something is sapping speed from you. I dunno what your dry weight was, but your profile says you have the same boat as me, only 3 years newer.

With 8 on board this past weekend, and choppy conditions, I was able to maintain 34-36mph, and 42 with 3 people and 2 coolers that approximate another person. 53 has been my top, and I can consistently hit 42-44 with 4 on board in reasonable conditions.

Do you have a thread around here about your speeds/power I can take a look at?

I do not but maybe I should start one. 41 has always been my top (gps agrees) and with six on board 34-35.

Had to include some pics of the curly horns. We’ve had rockstar views on the wildlife this year. Bears, eagles, bighorn, elk, deer, etc… I’m really going to have to invest in a camera. IMG_0903.jpegIMG_0900.jpeg

Finished our summer with a long weekend at LOTO. Stayed up the lake at the 36MM. Enjoyed much calmer waters and even was able to navigate on the main channel on a Saturday! Visited a few new places including The Cave, Capt Rons, and Boondockz. Put over 30 nautical miles without a hitch.

Was a fun trip. Brought back a lot of memories from highschool. Also a lot of memories of all the clean up from being in salt. Flushed the motors/rinsed everything with salt away. Waiting for it to cool down a bit today before I head out to give it a proper wash, load my lead bags back in it and then head to my buddies lake house Thursday. Epic week of boating for me.20230814_115854.jpg20230814_115859.jpg20230814_120030.jpg20230814_122910.jpg20230814_122915.jpg20230814_122925.jpg20230814_123009.jpg20230814_123058.jpg20230814_130810.jpg20230814_131355.jpg20230814_131403.jpg20230814_131408.jpg20230814_181702.jpg
