Scarab 255 open

Let’s grab the most extreme and rediculous example and tout it as proof of point.

If some has the $ to waste on a boat of that caliper, then they probably have multiple other boats to suit each and every need.

Just cause an example exists does not prove a point. Obtuse.
If someone likes it, it doesn't mean you have to be so negative. You have the boat you like others might like something else. Other wise we would only have one type of boat for one activity. Personally from the looks of it, I like it.

Did you maybe mean caliber and not caliper? Unless you are measuring or boats have brakes that I didn't know of?

So what does one need to go offshore? How far do you consider offshore? Does jet propulsion not cut it? Why or why not? Not being smart, just curious. I am like @Ramblin Wreck in that I am not a hardcore fisherman, but I would like to go fish occasionally here in NW Florida. The majority of my boat time is with the family and friends anchored at Shell or Crooked Island or doing light watersports. This boat is intriguing to me.
@OUT ON THE REEF has no problems going offshore with his fsh190. I'm sure there are things people change but that could be said of any boat.

Lots of people buy center consoles that don’t fish Here’s one that comes to mind I’m sure no fish will ever be Caught off of this boat View attachment 65785
Here is another one of those CC "fishing" boats in Bimini marina, they where not much into fishing I can tell you. Biggest collection of high end JLs I have ever seen, LOL.

These extreme Go Fast CC are a whole category. The decks of these boats will never see a fish. Unless its served up in the form of sushi

and iF i had @veedubtek bank account i would have a 37VH Freeman. The only fishing that would take place would be in the cooler

Extreme is right! The one in Bimini had I think four "7" O/Bs... Little more hp than Scarab 2 x 250.

I would not be surprised if these new CC also take over the wake surfing category. As far as deck space, it is the best design to have a party going on, where people are moving around, albeit you need something that is 24'+ for that.

I agree, I think over the next few years we will see the category grow

That is why I like the 255. Party time baby. I would feel ok at grand and dripping springs. Just think of the kegs you could put on that thing.

Does that have more than the 1200 hp that you posted earlier
The one in Bimini had four "7" - 627s - so about 2,500hp?

Since we're all just posting cool photos of dream boats....

SMH why would anyone buy a CC and use it solely as pleasure day cruising boat?

The things people say....

That's exactly what I'm buying, and exactly what I'm buying it for. And while I had assumed it would be a limited market, it appears alot of boat manufacturers are making something catering to my desires these days, so I can't imagine I'm the only one.

Your not.

A leopard doesn’t wear stripes. Might as well talk to a wall. I’m done with it, have at it.

Group thought without a single unique trait.

So what are some legit CC cruisers? Or is it people using CC fishing boats as cruisers? I'm not asking out of attack, but ignorance. I don't know anything about this market, but I don't really see these pics of these extreme (incredibly expensive) CC go fast boats as examples of what you guys are talking about.
