Those track-drying trucks sure get the job done!

@Seadeals looks like you've got some great seats. Did you drive in for the day or did you stay in a camper or hotel? I know the truck series and the Xfinity boys were in Phoenix.

Hotel Saturday night so I didn't have to wake up so early. They were lucky to squeeze in a race given the lousy weather yesterday.

I'd pay that for a nice pair of cowboy boots, but not a pair of sneakers that wear out in six months.

My family has me back into running short distances (5ks, 10ks, etc), so I'm used to paying over $100 for a good pair of running shoes but over $200 gave me sticker shock. Speaking of boots, I recall a story about g.w. Bush (jr. ?) when he was in office, his boots were custom made with the presidential seal embossed on them for $25k per pair.

Moving on! I just got this in the mail, It took me a few seconds to remember what this is. Any guesses?

Bingo, drivers side, I just need to find time to install it. I estimate it to take 1 hour so will budget 3 for it.

Don't know if it is very clear, but snow and ice on stadium seating we are setting for a little leage stadium in Kokomo, indiana. Roads were too icy and the trucks didn't want to drive today.

It's my job to rig the crane, get the piece in the air, run over to help set in place, then run back and hook the next one. We work the crane 8 hours and we work 10-12. Had 10" of snow and it's been heck ever since!

Wow...Good for you man. Makes me appreciate what I do. The hardest part about my job is that everyone makes weak coffee. Stay Warm! (if you can get warm)

I'll be back up there for the weekend next week to catch a couple games. Hope all that is melted!
