Man it's cold AF and rainy in the south for this time of year. Hate it! I would have had the boat out at least a few times by now. Been too dang cold and raining like every weekend. It's 66* right now in the middle of the day. This is such horse shit.

Company has box seats at Churchill Downs. I was lucky enough to get invited to The Kentucky Oaks this year. Snapped this pic of the wife and I in front of the iconic twin spires.
They had all the tickets except the infield as "All Inclusive" this year, free drinks and food!!!!!. Doubt they lost money on the deal, but we gave it a good run
Painters came today and painted the ceiling and the kitchen. Kitchen is officially done. Floors will be done in a few months once everything is done. Even with everyone being careful there have been a few scratches in our floor. So definitely made the right choice to hold off until everything else is done.
Started a project for the dinghy yesterday afternoon. Adding a flat floor and a bilge to the dinghy. Makes it easier to stand in versus the pitched hull. There are parallel 16” spaced hull chines that accepts 3/4” plywood very nicely. A couple coats of white Marine paint and some grey anti skid tape and we are in business. The gas tank will also sit flat.
I do whatever I can to save a buck, but when I get my table, I'm having the dealer do the delivery and installation. Delivery and installation (including leveling) on Brunswick tables is $599 and worth every penny, especially since my game room is on the second floor.
You may need to break down the boxes, especially the big one to move them. If the tabletop is slate, my understanding is that it usually is in two or three pieces.
Well we did not let the failure of the Marina to splash our boat on the scheduled day stop us. We left the black flies at home, launched our dinghy today and drove over to Splash, tied up in a guest slip and had lunch.
