Turns out the entire 4’ chunk of cedar 4x6 was rotten. Ripped it all out and replaced. The way the wall was built, it became a wick for any moisture.Piss poor planning by prior proprietors.

This is what happens when I get busy elsewhere or conditions become too wet to mow along my road. I do like it mowed, but these wildflowers will do until the swale dries out.

You've created a perfect pollinator garden. Don't mow it, brag about it like it was an intentional, time-consuming, and expensive but selfless effort that helps everyone else in the area, no matter what they're trying to grow in their own fields/yards.This is what happens when I get busy elsewhere or conditions become too wet to mow along my road.
