Smoke from Canada. Take a look at these photos if one is wondering what they are breathing into their lungs because of the smoke from Canada. One of our cars sat for a week and this is what I found on the hood. I can only assume it is the ash from smoke coming from the fires out of CanadaIMG_2090.jpegIMG_2089.jpegIMG_2088.jpegIMG_2088.jpegIMG_2086.jpegIMG_2085.jpeg

I have dehumidifiers in my garage and basement (rooms that are attached to, and upstairs from the garage...strange house). The sediment that is recently in them when I empty the water is nasty. Definitely from the smoke.

Turns out the entire 4’ chunk of cedar 4x6 was rotten. Ripped it all out and replaced. The way the wall was built, it became a wick for any moisture.
Aaaand done!

This is what happens when I get busy elsewhere or conditions become too wet to mow along my road. I do like it mowed, but these wildflowers will do until the swale dries out.

First day in the water this year and started off good. I found 2 colombians thanks to Tinder lol they were impressed by my Colombian Spanish. I said "esta canción es una chimba" and the girl said "Who are your friends in Colombia that you talk like this?!" My brother came along and is ready to sleep at the end of the day. Boat is always has Colombians and Brazilians, he can't keep up.

Our parking for the fireworks, the barge out at the breakwater…oh, and a Yamaha leaving the marina.

You've created a perfect pollinator garden. Don't mow it, brag about it like it was an intentional, time-consuming, and expensive but selfless effort that helps everyone else in the area, no matter what they're trying to grow in their own fields/yards.

Being in the organic blueberry business, we love our bumbles.

Just liked the plate on this tow vehicle.

I have been demoing and building a new fence since Friday. The hotttest weeekend of the year so far. This was then temp on Saturday (the hottest day) when I got in the truck to hard to the wood recycling plant. It cooler down to 109 once the air conditioner Kicked in. Yesterday it didn’t even break 100 degrees so work was “easy” by comparison.

Finally, we baited to lunch on Sunday and past the local party spot “skiers beach” on the way home. It looked like mtv spring break. At least 4 rows of rafts with 50 plus boats in each. No beach could be seen. I wanted to stay to enjoy the sights but too much traffic and young guys / inexperienced boats around for me.

The plane in the backyard is impressive but I’d rather have the big a$& house on the water instead. Interestingly, o saw the plane in use earlier that day. I bet his neighbors hate him (out of jealousy and because the plane is very loud).IMG_2776.jpegIMG_2775.jpegIMG_2774.jpegIMG_2773.jpeg

Just parking on an incline to drain as much water out of the bilge as possible after a day on the water and in prep for a day at a lake that has quagga and zebra muscle inspections.
