Old School, Excursion. Brings back a lot of memories.

Why do the back wheels look so tiny. Is this one of those squatted trucks?

Today I mortgaged my house, my better judgement, and maybe my marriage. I won't be able to sleep for awhile, but F it. Life is short, live in the moment. Took the plunge...IMG_2685.jpg

I've had a lot of shitty ideas...... but you just made me look like Warren Buffett
You may look like Warren Buffett, but I feel like Warren Buffett. Camper to follow..

Shopping to trade in within a couple months and I'm leaning towards the Titan XD. Anyone here have a Titan?

Neighbor has a '21 Titan Pro4X. Traded his '20 Silverado on it after the Chevy spent more time in the shop over 3mo than it did on the road.

It's a legitimately nice truck. Has all the features and more tech than the Silverado did. Cost a little less. Has a bit more power, and gets slightly worse fuel economy. Lane Keep Assist, Adaptive Cruise, CarPlay, etc. All kinds of tech in it. He uses it like a work truck because he's a site forman for a large construction company. Of course his company pays the payment and the fuel bill, so that isn't a huge concern for him. I think it showed around 42k miles on it when I was in it on Saturday night (he drove us to dinner). So far it's be significantly more reliable than his Silverado was.

He previous personal truck was an '06 Titan that he drove to 225k miles with the factory engine and transmission before he traded it away. I would wager he'll keep buying Nissans as long as they keep making them at this point.

I just pick up the new ride on Monday. I traded my 2009 Ram 1500 for this 2022 Ram 1500 Limited. The air suspension gives it an incredible ride and the 5.7L Hemi with the ETorque should be perfect for towing the boat. The weather is getting nicer by the day and boating season is getting closer.

I really like that gunmetal gray color. Always have.

Always thought the lines on the toolboxes were weird, but I've always envied the usefulness of them.

My buddy had one for like a month, until the dealer agreed to take it back and to my surprise this was with the Cummings. He stated they are complete garbage, obviously he all kinds of problems with it. He now has an F150 and is happy. This might be why they no longer offer this truck.

This should drastically change your towing experience.
Hopefully. My Explorer tows the boat great, but I am close to the weight limit, so carrying extra cargo was becoming an issue. Visibility and blind spots were another issue.
