We had a slow moving storm dump 4 inches of rain from Friday evening into Saturday morning. The river was crazy high. A few folks stuck out on boats I'm guessing when the locks closed. The California boat club broke loose and traveled about 7 miles down river and sunk (it was partially sunk to begin with and abandoned). Something like 60 boats and skis that broke loose up against the locks. At one point a dock floated by with a boat and a ski tied to it. :( I'll be updating this throughout the day with pictures and video.

These folks tied off on Thursday and were rescued late Saturday.

We went down to the marina to check on our Sea Doos and they were working on moving some boats around and freeing up docks that were binding. Normal flow this time is about 3000 cubic feet per second when we were there it was flowing about 120,000 cubic feet per second. The river is expected to be high until next week.20170729_202834.jpg
