Texas/Oklahoma area Gathering this summer at Broken Bow July 25th weekend

txav8r (Mel, Clara, Chester), 2012 SX 240, Beavers Bend State Park Cabin!

Get this...the states computer modem is down now for 5 days and they can't confirm or book but the website let me do it, but it is two twin beds! Where is Chester going to sleep? lol

I was just on their website and it is terrible!! I was trying to see if they had anything left because my older brother and his family showed some interest in coming with us. I could - every now and then when I held the mouse just right - get a 2 bedroom cabin to show as available for $200 per night.

If they do come, they might just be staying in a hotel in town.

Won't he sleep in the recliner in the living room watching TV??? lol

They have a studio left with a queen I think...no pets. I took the 2 twins to have a pet friendly...Chester dang well better show up! lol

Hmm, well, I couldn't get that to ever show up! I tried calling a bunch, but it kept ringing busy. I figured I would just wait to follow up until after my brother actually confirms....assuming they do confirm.

I did a fly-by yesterday...

Looks good Mel! Next time though, could you try to get a pic from 600'?

No kidding, can't see anything from way up there!!

Can we mount a GoPro on the T-38?

I don't know what the problem is...I could see it just fine! Lol

Those are great pics!

Some day - some how - I will experience flying in a jet like that!

Awesome pis Bryan! What's it take for a retired Air Force dude to get a backseat ride?[flag] Maybe I don't want to ask...LOL

Hmmmm.....maybe Bob saw something in the pic I didn't see....and may not wanted to have seen anyways!! lol lol

Love the pics Bryan! As always! Glad you got a cabin Mel. Looking forward to seeing that shiny new toy of yours.

Christy, that sounds like the plan that I had in mind. Maybe a little get together at somebodies cabin in the evening. No real formal plans of any really. Just being on the lake on the boat and showering and sleeping at the cabin.

We plan to be on the lake by noon on Friday since I'm taking off work. Plan on spending all day on Saturday and a good part of the day on Sunday on the water as well.

I know we are in the same circle of cabins with Travis. I think in cabin 2 or 6. He's in one and I'm in the other. No telling where Mel's is in the park.

Sounds like we will get there about the same time on Friday, Pearce. I don't know what time we will leave there on Sunday though. It is a fairly far drive back home.

I have a trip Sunday evening, so unless I can trade it somehow, and not too likely, we will only be on the water on Saturday. We will be up there around 8 on Friday night too. Maybe a little guacamole on Saturday night?

Mel, that all sounded good - right up to the word "little". If you will bring "lots" that would be better! lol
