Watched the boat endure it’s first storm on a mooring, sorted out storage bins for the boat, restocked the tool bag, and got the registration letters in hand.
Any advise on cleaning the hull before applying lettering?
Get some padded covers for those things. I just did guides too and they come in handy on a busy waked out boat ramp. I ordered the 48" mad dog covers on amazon and they are well made, especially for $41.
By some miracle got it all back together. Ribbon delete had to be cut out of manifold. Drilled tap for blow off valve. Had to disconnect fuel rail. Not started yet gonna wait a bit for that.
Just got my new 6CW impellers installed. It was much easier than I expected. The pictures of a 6CW and 6AP sitting side by side don't do it justice, the 6CWs look massive compared to the stock ones.
It only took 2 hours: which includes a trip to home depot for a 6" vise (my 4" broke while attempting removal), and I picked up a 27mm combination wrench (crescent wrench wanted to round off the impeller nut).
I talked it up big to the wife before ordering, so I really hope it provides the noticeable seat of the pants difference everyone else has experienced. We'll find out tomorrow.

I sure noticed a big difference. Although, I have a couple other factors at play, such as having had them pitched for elevation and elevation itself. I'm interested to hear your review.
Installed new Thrust Vectors while with the 12 year old. Glad he helped!!! It cut our time in half. Thanks @JetBoatPilot for the great product. Can't wait to try it out!!
