Changed the oil, because I am bored and can't really get out on it with everything else going on. Maybe I can get some early time in this weekend for some fishing.

The factory bimini is useless so I ordered a Oceansouth Bimini extension. I have cup holder/fishing rod holders by 'Mate' on the swim platform so this works well. Ignore the yard.. it needs TLC and technically isn't my responsibility lol

I really have no idea. If they work well for you I may do the same thing.

After your post I was reading around. Not sure how they will do. But then my OCD overcame me and I ordered both of these just a few minutes ago. They are sealed and should be a direct replacement.
SHORELAND'R LED Low Profile Tail Light (Right) #5110569 (easternmarine.com) and SHORELAND'R LED Low Profile Tail Light (Left) #5110570 (easternmarine.com)

This is what I put on my trailer and I'm on the 3rd season of salt water. They advertise a lifetime LED warranty and I think they will replace it if water intrusion happens.

And I would cut off that electrical connector on the shorelander stuff and crimp with marine heat shrink. I rewired all my trailer and removed those stupid connectors because they all fail eventually. I don't know how they survive in fresh water.

Did you devide the compartment? Where are the batteries?
On the new 252SE the batteries are in the port side of the engine compartment - probably to balance the weight of the water tank for the shower which is on the starboard side of the engine compartment. They still put the switches in the same spot though. So I installed it there, but ran the battery cables through the same opening into the engine compartment and attached them to the batteries.

Replaced the steering cable on my 2022 SX195. Finally be back on the water!
