Hello, I was putting my 2024 SX190 away after a day on the lake and noticed this

I feel that doesn't look right with that rubber o-ring exposed like that. The boat ran great that day .is there supposed to be something holding that in.

believe it or not it's normal....search "after birth" in the forum to see more threads about it. it's excess sealant from the initial assembly.
 
That’s not an O-ring that’s just a ring of silicone sealer. This is very common on new boats, it’s left over from when the boat was made. Don’t worry about it go forth and have fun.
