Why aren't you boating? (A place to brag or vent)

Stillnot boating yet in 2019. After the 4th!

I needed to deep clean upholstery. Spent roughly 2 hours on interior. Used weather tech cleaning products. Finished job by applying leather and vinyl conditioner to seats.
Looks great! My interior is absolutely filthy right now... I haven't cleaned it since last season, life's crazy and I've been lazy in the little free time I've had. It needs it desperately.

I'm not boating because I'm dealing with this tyrant

:)

Because my butt hurts... literally.

89° - Sunny - hardly a breeze... and my butt hurts

I clearly strained something in my lower back that's aggravated my sciatic nerve. Probably while installing cabinets last week, though I don't remember specifically. All I know is, it's painful, annoying, and cramping my style.

My Dad took the boat out without me for the first time... overcorrected when trying to park it and hit the dock pretty good. No boating till this gets fixed.

That sucks, I misjudged my turning radius and took a chunck out of my boat with the dock the first time I took it to Lake Powell. I chose to admire my ineptitude all season so I wouldn't miss any boating and had it repaired during the off season.

If it's not going to cause a major issue, I'd say slap some white flex seal tape in on it and finish it the season.

Why am I not boating? Because it's the weekend and I don't boat on the weekend. Had 2 great days on Thursday and Friday, got my 4 month old puppy swimming. That was a major objective.

I feel your pain. This is what I see out my window...no boat. We're boatless for the next few weeks. Very sad. :arghh: :(

Still boatless after 5 weeks ...Seems like when it rains it pours (i mean that literally too - weather here's been terrible). Replaced both intercoolers, both cats, all new plugs, oil, O2 sensors, new iNR module. Now there is an oil leak and will be a few more days. ?

All I can say is "Thank God" this is all under warranty. On the bright-side, everything outside the engines will be brand new. So that's good. Hopefully next weekend we'll be on the water assuming the weather is good (hate getting rained on).

That's crazy! I hope is trouble free once you get it back. You seem to have had a good attitude about it. It's a beautiful boat by the way.

Thank you! :)

I hope it will be (trouble free). The boat has been a lot of fun and can't wait to get back in it. I like how the dealer handles it. They don't "fix it" they replace it with the latest components available (by and approved from BRP). This is partly why it's taken so long; always waiting on components to show. As Carly Simon sang "Anticipation, Is makin' me late, Is keepin' me waitin'..."

No boat yet, and on the road for work. Not a good combination.

Still not boating because I’m living in Italy and the boat is in TX, but I sure was wishing I had my boat this weekend!
We spent the weekend at Lake Garda Lake Garda - Wikipedia

We stayed toward the Northern end at Malcesine in a small hotel right on the water edge.

Well, this morning was definitely a no go! It was a pretty good testimony for the Airhead bungee lines I've got, though! Pretty sheltered creek I'm in unless it's storming like you can see. Normally, the stern sits even with the post just to the right of the bench, and the boat was being pushed back, testing the limits of the Airheads
