It comes in handy with guest captains.I have had dual engines in my home for 25 years...I don't fully understand the need to physically sync them. I generally interact with the throttles very little, compared to how long I'm on the boat, and when I do I always adjust RPMs to sync, so I need and want them to be disconnected so I can fine tune to the exact match across both engines. What am I missing that makes this such a need? Why not just grab both horns towards the middle and push both together?
