Anyone add additional enclosures to the center console on the Yamaha 255 FSH E? We have the 2023 model and really enjoy it but are thinking of closing in the sides of the center console- would love to hear feedback of anyone who has done it or looked into it. Also, would love a windshield wiper on the front!

Welcome!

Great boat! I don’t know of anyone who has set up canvas like you mention on a FSH boat, I have a plan to do that to mine at some point. I think the windshield on your boat is acrylic? I don’t believe that would play well with a windshield wiper. You could try a product like Rain X for plastic pretty amazing stuff.

I use Meguiars plastic polish and cleaner on my windshield.

Looking to close in the side windows actually. Never thought of the full enclosure but that’s a great idea, too. Thanks for sharing!! Where did you find this one?

Thanks so much for sharing. I never realized but you’re probably right, must be why there is no wiper option. Will definitely look into that product, meguiars makes some great products! Appreciate it!

that was an OEM option on the Sportsman boat, but if you take the picture to any local canvas shop, I can pretty sure they could fabricate one. I have also seen them referred to as “wings”.

All of those different types are made by Jeans canvas.. There is another place in Pompano Beach FLA… he has some you tube vids dedicated to different canvas and bow shade set ups that are very trick.

Well if it’s glass just super clean it and use the original formula rain X and the water will fly right off.
