Howdy all,

Was wondering if any of the 210 FSH Sport owners on here have the Yamaha mooring cover, and more specifically, how do you put it on the boat? I was attempting to put mine on the other day with limited time and had to abort as I ran out of time..

Thanks in advance for any help that may come my way!

In your situation, I would lay it out on the ground.
Roll it up from Stern to Bow.
Lay it across the bow and get it started and unroll as you go toward the stern, feeding it over the windshield and over the seat.
You will need to unzip and unsnap the plastic clip (inside the Velcro sleeve) to get it around the tower.
Finish unrolling it, and zip up both zippers and fasten both clips before exiting the boat.
Once on the ground, pull the cover over and around the stern/swim deck. You may need to release some slack on the ratchets (inside the zipped pouches on each side near the stern).
Once the cover is on, you will crank the ratchets down. This works best w/ 2 people cranking each side at the same time, but can also be done by 1 person if you alternate sides while cranking the ratchets (a few cranks per side at a time to keep even).
You will want the ratchets tight (but not retard tight).

Side note: I tow with my cover on, but I leave our inflated tube laying across the 2 casting platforms and the center console seat to keep the cover from collapsing from the wind while towing. This will save your cover some wear and tear as well as help w/ fuel mileage.Boat and Truck by Shop.jpg

Thank you very much for the response!

Where I ran into a road block was the tower zippers and clips. I unzipped and unclipped both sides and fed that portion through the middle of the tower. Where I became vexed is how the two panels secure around the rear of the tower in such a way where the zipper portion looks like yours. Any help you could give on that portion of the installation would be most helpful!

Thanks for the tip on putting the inflatable under the cover up front to keep it from collapsing during travel.... a great idea! I’ll be taking a long trip coming up this year and was planning on having this cover on for that trip.
