Boat is fresh home from being repaired from last year's damage, figured I might as well make a few more holes under the waterline :)

OMG....Where do I start..LOL

Hey... sure I'll jump in on the SeaDek group buy, what could happen LOL. But little did I know what pain in the A@@ it was to remove the current hydro-turf and the adhesive...

My wife and I started the removal of the current decking at 10am and we finished the last SeaDek addition at 6pm... Honestly I don't know how I'm typing right now since my hands have turned into the "claw" (must be the wine).

I gotta say it looks great and even better, my skeptical wife loves it! If it wasn't for my metal 6 in1 painters tools I dont know how long it would have taken to pull the mat up. It left so much adhesive on the fiberglass that I went thru 1 of those eraser wheels and 2 batteries on my drill and that was only the right side of my swim platform! I ended up using Pro-Strength Goo Gone and let it sit for 10min+ and that worked way better than the eraser wheel. I have to say the Anchor locker and step were the worst to get off and cleaned...With all the "grippy bumps" it was very tough to use anything to pull the mat off.

I washed the crap out of the inside but in hindsight I shouldn't have since the current hydo-turf let a ton of black powder everywhere and I had to wash everything down again.

So here are some pix of my black 2014 242LS with Mica over Chocolate SeaDek. Looks Great and and cant wait to get on the water Tuesday.

Sorry for the "dark pictures but the sun was setting behind the house and I just didn't have it in me to try and get better pix..LOL Im beat.

Cheers Y'all!

oil changed, filter changed, spark plugs changed, hydro-turf removed, SeaDek installed, morning covered with Fabric Guard again, and wax to go, Bimini install and time to hit the water..

Rearranged the battery compartment to accommodate adding the 3rd GRP 31Duracell AGM. 2 GRP 31's trays installed and batteries installed and hooked up. So now have a GRP 24 DC starting and 2 GRP 31 Duracell AGM's.

Pics of the install / wiring diagram? I'd like to do that to accommodate longer audio time. when I went to fire up the motor the second time it stumbled a bit.

Interesting idea. How and what did you hook up the 3rd battery?

Roger that! I intended to snag a couple pics too and just simply forgot. I'll snag some this week and post. Pretty straight forward install and hook up. I did have to extend my DVSR ground as it was too short to reach the negative where I moved the start battery back in the long narrow section of the compartment.

Installed the transducer for my Simrad GO7. Switched from a dual drain plug light to a triple transom light.

Love your lights. Make sure they're not on out of the water. I have the pair (yours is a triple) and one has burned out. They're telling me I burnt it out. Told them they'd both be burned out if that was the case. Still waiting to hear back.

Wasn't ready to commit to a switch location on the dash yet and drill a 3/4" hole. Printed up a temporary bracket to mount in the battery compartment for now.

Finished wiring and plumbing my secondary bilge pump (direct to battery, so can turn off switches in the water). Test was a success, but man does it feel backwards to be dumping water into your boat.

Ah, that stinks. I'm not powering my lights directly through this switch, but using it to turn on a relay that drives them. Works great for my setup, but I think they are rated pretty low as far as current handling ability.

Finally got to turn mine on at night after hooking up the switch today. Seem quite bright, hope they do well in our murky waters.
