The perfect tow vehicle for those of you who have convinced your spouse that you needed a 24 or 25 foot boat, for that once in a lifetime terrible day on the lake. It will be perfect for those 24-25 footers, when the ramp looks too steep for your lifted F350 dually 4x4. 444820D5-07FD-4E14-A366-2DF7A926AD78.jpeg

Spent a couple of hours at the house build last Thursday. Shot video of the entire home since the wiring, plumbing, and HVAC has been installed. Also double-checked all the window dimensions so my wife can start considering window blinds, etc. MInor electrical work needs to be finished, insulation installed, and all the openings closed up this week. Dry wall install planned for Thanksgiving week. Then we finally get a tentative occupancy date, we are hoping its the first week of the new year!

That takes the "mystery" out of mystery meat. Grow your own. 2 year old steer? Or heifer?
That one was a steer. I try to keep heifers back if I can but it's getting harder & harder to find pasture ground. Everything within a reasonable distance is tillable or not available.

So how do you get three 7 1/2' long Polaris Aces (single seat side-by-sides o_O) on a 14' trailer?

You side load them! ;)

Miss having our toys which are currently in storage until our new house is done. Organizing some digital pictures from last year, this is from our trip to War, WV, when we rode the Hatfield and McCoy Warrior Trail. We rented a small house in War and rode our Aces to the trailhead. Looking forward to another trip to the Hatfield and McCoy Trails next Spring!

Jim
I went there in March of this year and rode Rock House and Devils Anse Trails. That place is awesome and a must if you like to ride trails. We were on a couple sport ATV's and a SxS. Already planning on going back next year.

I just finished building this 5' x 10' layout/pinning table in the sweatshop/she shed. The table top surface is vinyl covered homasote so it will take and hold a pin. 7/16" osb under the homasote for support between the frame members. Put it on casters to move around as needed. Final
height is 37".

I had a Great Aunt who had a Fairlane just like the one in your barn. Her car, though, wasn't a classic it was just old. She bought the car new and had it for more than 20 years. First time I saw duct tape, it was covering a couple of the small rust spots on her car!

My wifes uncle bought the 1956 Fairlane off the showroom floor for his mom who HATED it and didnt have a license. His wife took it over and drove the mother around in it until nobody wanted it. Sat at my father-in-laws for 30+ years before we took it. 56k original miles, but needs extensive work. My son and I are dead set in it at least starting one day. We even have the original, and only, title from 1955.

I just got these from Yamaha sports plaza in Seattle.
that is two valve cover gaskets and two small timing chain guides (these are
Mounted to the underside of the valve cover). $85 including shipping. I don’t know if I should be upset about the cost or relieved that the parts were available at all.

I vote be relieved! :winkingthumbsup"

Life is to short to be upset over the cost of boat parts.

There is a guy doing that on the forum now. Besides, our practice boat is gone. She just got back from a bimini making course at Hood Marine Canvas and Hood Marine Canvas Training Workshops a couple of weeks ago. Add that to the boat cover course in Ohio last June at https://canvastraining.com/ and she is gaining a lot of knowledge on how to. She has done a great job on the interior of the Beneteau with all the vinyl box cushions, new head/hull liner, sun shades and the new dinghy cover is nearly finished as the parts we were waiting for arrived yesterday. I know she is going back to Hood Canvas in Ma. in December for another course on cockpit enclosures.
