My cousin took delivery of his new C8 today at the Corvette Museum. I love what they have done with this gen and really love the Z06 with the flat plane engine! I’m sure that will be a fun drive back home!

God, I love the new corvette, it is one of my favorite new cars!

I wish they would ramp up production so that I could get one second-hand in a couple of years. Prices have really been crazy high for used ones, given the cost on new ones.

I thought Eve would be hotter, at the same time Adam didn’t have any great alternatives. I wonder if he was eyeing that apple before her.

Last one for today. What I see is that I will be seeing better on and off the water with these new glasses. I went with lesser known brands for the frames so the cost was about half what i paid for Rayban frames two years ago. I didn’t go economy on the lenses though, they are fully loaded (progressive, self tinting, scratch resident, anti glare, etc.). The non conventional frames are safety glasses and they float. This was a good deal all the way around. They were delivered to me within a week of placing the order instead of me picking them up three weeks later like I was told to expect.

I was happy with my prescription Wiley-X set up I got many moons ago. Who did them for you, and if you don't mind me asking, what did they run you? I think at the time, mine ran me $300, but I only had to cover half of the cost.

I ordered both sets through my healthcare provide, Kaiser Permanente. The Wiley X frames were only $50. The only feature missing is that they don’t float.

The more conventional frame is by Dragon and they were $100 for the frame and non prescription tinted lenses (sun glasses). The rest of the total cost of $550, so $400, cost was for the prescription lenses For both frames.

The dragon set floats, supposedly. I purchased dragon snow goggles years ago so I’m familiar with the brand. I recall The snow goggles came with two lenses (colored and tinted) and was also less expensive than most other brands.
