Check Engine Light No Code? 2007 Sx210 Project.

I recently picked up a small project. 2007 SX210. Starbord engine shows check engine light. has slight rough idle. seems to run fine though. Port side no check engine light, runs like a top. I ran the YDS and the only code for both engines is the No Wake issue. Checked Oil seems fine, not milky and no gas smell. Thoughts on where to look next?

First thing I would do if you haven't already is put in fresh spark plugs. My experience with the Yamaha engines is they dirty the plugs in a typical season and then run rough/have a hard time idling.

Agreed, and OEM plugs, be sure and gap the new plugs before installation.

Replaced the plugs, found 1 where the Insulation around the electrode had broken free and was touching the electrode. Fired it back up seems to run fine but check engine light is still on.

Cool. Cycle the batteries on, engine on, engine off, battery off five times and see if the check engine goes away.
