2020 195S Build Thread WARNING PIC HEAVY

The conext screen is not on. Only the Fusion Swim deck head unit. I also use the Fusion app on my phone. I never use my conext for audio. Conext turns up all volume not zones. The Fusion app, and swim deck head unit allow me zone control. Rev10s are loud ??
Which fusion app, I see several in the play store?

That's the one

So this is going to be my build thread for our brand new 2020 195S. I'm bad when it comes to my toys. So this could end up being a long thread.

We went with the 195S because we fell in love with the simplistic classy look. No flashy colors, or graphics. Just plain White and Gray. Swim platform Fusion head unit with wetsounds cabin speakers was a big plus. Without going into everything we loved let's just skip to the pics.

Day one at the dealership we are in love. Dealership rigged her all up and ready for us. 2 minutes on the hour meter:

Various pics of details.....

Mooring lights are nice, and actually super bright.

Hello gorgeous interior :

Let's take it for the dealer test ride. What ya mean I gotta break in period..... That sucks. 15 minutes at idle, and then 1.25 hours of under 5k rpm. Oh well. Let's test no wake mode then:

7" connext is really nice, and super easy to navigate though. Good time to play with all that :

Maps feature is super nice to have in dash :

The supercharged beauty :

Test ride is done. Let's hook her up and bring her home. 3 hour ride in store :

First order of business is trailer guides. Must have for us as we are used to putting on and off with lines not boat power. Super easy to do with guides. Fulton 50" guides :

Gotta add the pads though :

Next up let's fix this loose steering issue. It's not as bad as I thought it would be, but this will tighten it right up :

Great shot of yamaha lateral thrusters built in from factory with the wider v shaped bucket :

Super easy install watching Jeff's video on you tube. The AK19 Super fins are a gorgeous fit. Total of like 15 minute install. Yes these were installed before the 1.5 hour break in time ?:

Time for our Maiden Voyage. After our .5 hour no wake zone creek ride...... Break in time is over. LET'S GO.... Hit 44 with 7 people, 3 coolers, lots of beer, and some Captain and Coke:

Oh snap. Package came in. I like my sounds, and I like it loud :

This is the area the electronics will go. Port side Aft seat storage is now home to a bunch of electronics :
View attachment 106208

Start by adding 2 Duracell Group 31 batteries ran in parallel back aft of stock battery. Grounded to stock battery. Didn't get a Pic, but stock battery switch was replaced with perko dial battery switch :

Yamaha..... Did you really cut and crimp off the RCA leads to the fusion deck? "Yes we did. Fight me." So that was a pain in the butt. I spliced all my RCA cables in directly. FYI to anyone else that is going to add amps to this.... Fusion sells a replacement harness for your RCA (I didn't know at the time) :
View attachment 106210
Is this the harness you mentioned?
FUSION Wire Harness - 2-Zone (boemarine.com)

Yep that looks like the same harness
will have to look elsewhere as that vendor is out of stock until at least Nov.

Just some random beach pics for yall. Got some revo 6.5s going in this week. I'll update then. Boat is still doing phenomenal. Gotta love those boat only beaches. Little slice of VA heaven

Tell us about your registration lettering. Looks interesting.

They are way back in the early pages of this thread. Came from jet boat pilot. Made by dommed letters

@Hoyt - Curious what your top speed is now with all the additional equipment. I added Rev 8 towers, amp, second battery and Cobra fins, and can only hit like 40-44 now. Was hitting 47-48 before. I am suspect of the fins slowing me down

Ours fully loaded with 4 people sits about 44. I rarely ever go faster then 25-30 though on normal days. Probably could be faster with just one or two people

i hit 48 with my fins on. full tank of gas. just me and my boy tho. 1 battery at that time. water was glass.

Thanks guys - i think i can hit 44 with two people. about 7400 RPM. Seems like i may have lost some RPMs, not sure, i seem to remember 7800 in the past.

Edit..... Well boys the boat has stock recon6s not 5s. Looked at them after pulling, and Damn they are 6s. Just so everyone knows...

Finally got around to upgrading the rear wetsounds recon 5s in the boat. Son got me a set of wetsounds revo 6s. Install was super easy, and I can definitely see I will be replacing the bow speakers as well. Was able to turn the gain up slightly on the revos. The highs are so much clearer. Anyway on to the pics.....

Stock recon 5s in their location....

Here's a shot of the stock hole (notice it's super close to my amp, but it does fit gorgeously). These are the stock screws holes for the recons....

Screw holes line up perfectly. No drilling, no hole enlarging, nothing. Just screw them in....

Here she is fully installed.....

Don't forget to pull off protective films ??.....

That's it. That's the install. Kicking myself for putting it off on buying these. Bow will be ordered soon ??

The Revo 6s sound incredible. I didn’t hook up the RGBs yet either but I will at a future time with the RF controller.
