I am getting ready to add Tower Speakers to my T-Top. I will be running a 0.345" Cable, my question is has anyone run wire through the tubes on the top of the T-Top maybe someone has done tower speakers or spreader lights? Obviously I know I will have to come out of the tube were the top mates with the support just like the stern light. But am I able to go from tube to tube up top are they open on the inside? Does anyone have tips or tricks for getting the wire routed? Specifically I am looking to start my wires where the arrows in the picture are.IMG_0243.jpg

I know one guy has a 210 FSH and mounted speakers up there…. He mainly uses his FSH as a wake surfing platform.

This post on Facebook FSH Owners Group this person did it and posted pics. Yamaha FSH Owners Group | Facebook
Awesome! I don't have Facebook anymore, but my wife does... Guess who just requested access to another group... She did! Apparently I need to get my own account again or so I'm told. Anyway I'll check it out once the admins grant me access.

I agree got rid of it almost 2 years ago... Haven't missed it. Got in that group and got some ideas of routing... Ordered the cable and will report back in a week or so with routing... But keep the ideas flowing guys I appreciate it!

@FSH 210 Sport Thanks, but I am looking to run the wires inside the tubes of the top so that's not so much of a help.

Project Tower Speakers are coming along great. The only issue I currently have is running the speaker wire from the middle tube to the final outer tube where they will be mounted. The way I see it is I have two options...

1. Run the wire out of the top hole and make another hole on the top of the outer tube and put it back in. This way the wire is hopefully hidden under the cover.
2. Drill through the outer tube on an angle creating a large oblong hole, however keeping the wires inside the tube. With this option I was thinking about filling the hole with 5200 or something.

Most people mount to the round tube under the top oval tube which would solve your problem as you just go all the way forward then down into that tube. You may be able to drill diagonally through the joint your trying to get through from the top but would make your top. If you drill the hole diagonally through you could always round the hole for the cap with a larger bit. These are the caps I have seen others using for the holes https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AZOGRL...olid=2RHJ18NW5OT9O&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it What grommets are you using? I was going to ask if you drilled a holes through the top bolt on joint but now see your pic going out and back in.

Yeah I didn't want to mount it there I have to be difficult. I bought some caps like the ones you linked for the top. I drilled the holes in to help route the cable and in the rear I had to drill through the tube to route the wire. The grommets I am using are plastic 1/2 outer diameter from ACE Hardware.

I think I am leaning toward drilling on an angle to keep all the wire inside and I'll figure how cap / fill the hole on that one tube later.

My Speakers are on the same tube as yours but I dont have my wires routed inside on the top portion yet. I dont like how the top cover is a bump over the mount. I was thinking of moving to the other location but I need new speaker cans first since mine mounts dont have the ability to turn 90 degrees for that setup. Also 4200 and 5200 dues turn yellow in the sun, something to be aware of if you have an location that is not covered in plane site.

I reluctantly drilled holes on an angle… after all that work I couldn’t let myself have the wires jump outside and run along the top. I got plastic plugs for the holes on top I drilled and for the holes on an angle I plan on using the two part JB Weld epoxy to fill them.
I have six pin connectors I’m going to be using so that I can disconnect the tower from the boat still. They match the style connector of the stern light.
