If you’re going to have a toon might as well go full Yamaha Amara - SunCatcher Pontoons with a 450 Yamaha outboard engine out back.. my friends sent me this from a boat show in Lake Havasu..

interesting boat...windshield and an upgrade to the alum tubing/sheeting sidewalls, but the painted? toons takes away what seems like the coolest feature of a pontoon.......being able to just beach it willy nilly without scratching gelcoat.
and that rear 6' long platform needs some lounger pads

This looks a pontoon and a catamaran had a baby.

If you look at the toons closely, they have some triangular shaped wedges along the near bottom edge, the wrap only goes to there. You can barely see the forward portion of the toons, the bottom edge is still polished aluminum.

In our region, it's very common to wrap the toons, rather than paint, just like these are. Many will use a black wrap or white like this when the top is white. But as you said, the bottom edge is left bare as you only see it on the trailer or in this case, when on plane, as the front half of those toons will be in the air!

Amazing how tritoons have evolved. My buddies demo boat (he owns a dealership) has twin 350's. And it skips 2ft waves at 70mph. Nobody can badmouth a 13-15 passenger toon that performs like that.

We have 1 or 2 toons on Lake Lanier with twin 500's. I can't stand getting passed by a toon.
