Think the control panel above the toilet is for lights or could there be some HVAC trickery in there. The website seems very vague on what you all get for a boat of that size and price. I feel like a lot of other manufacturers provide a lot more information.
Ahhh....this must be the "Wisconsin edition" that I've heard Yamaha has been working on. You can pass out after drinking a 30 pack of Hamm's at the sandbar and have a commode literally 6" from your head if you get sick or a step away if you have to take a whizz.
The rest of the world can thank us.....you're welsome.........
I doubt they expect anyone to be spending the night in that "cuddy." It reminds me more of what you see on the Sea Ray SDX 250 and 270 models. A head/storage compartment with a filler cushion in case a kid wants to take a nap.
Exactly. Yamaha didn’t offer a bigger boat when I upgraded from my 24 to my current 29…I still love the outboards though. Need to have a lift with the jet boats…now I want a little cabin just for my kids to get out of sun and not complain to go home when they tired of swimming and want to chill…sea Ray sundancer 320 or formula 330 cbr seem perfect.
Depends I have a 29 OBX with twin 200hp. 29 feet and 9 foot beam. maybe in a jet drive it needs that power?.?. you can’t even get more than 250 each…i constantly have a full boat and we cruise at 35-38mph easy with 155 gallon tank. Top speed is over 50 with the Bimini up when it’s just me and wife in nice conditions. I don’t feel underpowered at all.
I was underwhelmed with the new boats... even the colors are blech. "Dolphin grey?" I want to be more visible on the water, not blending into the environment.
This is what drives me nuts about Yamaha - this paragraph has a lot of info in it for those that know and love their boats, but ZERO details. Tell us MORE ABOUT THESE THINGS!!
Where are the rubber isolator mounts on the pump?!
What is this new impeller design?!
Transom plate extension - cool, give us the deets!
After browsing, it appears the new things for 2026 models are:
- 29' models
- 29' SURF $200k+ model (would've been better as a center console IMHO)
- Something called "siren marine" for remote monitoring your boat
- New colors
Pretty underwhelming for the core customers, if you ask me.
Pretty underwhelming for sure! It time for Yamaha to design a low Rpm high torque V8 for their boats. They have built V8 and sixes for car manufacturers in the past. It’s time for an update to the 25’ models as well. And for the love off god, can we get some decent color options!

It will take all of a week to get it straightened out. This happens every year. Seems they cant figure out how to proofread anything before putting it live
