When you say avoid left, back left, are you referring to the N, NE corner? Just curious as to why? Do those areas still see a lot of wave activity?


IF we go it would be my family of four, kids include 14 yr old son and 11 yr old daughter. Wife and daughter would likely fly down and ferry over.

Is your AirBnB in North or South Bimini?

I am referring to that NE corner. No, it is a long walk to the pool. Dragging kids, coolers, and bags that far sucks.

Yeah would of loved to go with you guys. But someone beat me to that week of vacation as I was dragging my feet on committing. Anyway, I’ll sure there will be a next time.

Anyone get a slip at Bimini Cove yet, are they taking reservations? I called a few weeks ago and they were supposed to call me back but never did.

If you haven't booked the Bahia Mar hotel yet, your might want to start figuring out other options. I just looked to book a room for Sunday, June 21st and there is nothing available. I checked flexible days and found Fri and Sat check-ins also with no availability. I'm guessing they have a convention that weekend, maybe when it gets closer to when you need a room something will come available.

I'm still figuring out exactly what we will be doing for accommodation but I will probably stay somewhere within 30 minutes or so of Harbour Towne, launch Monday morning and then head over to Bimini.

I havenot but the location and rates both look better then Bahia Mar. @Andy S what do you think of this spot instead of Bahia Mar?

The hilton was about $50 cheaper than Bahia Mar based on my reservation. I called them about a slip and they only do reservations 60 days out and its an $80 minimum/night.
