So are we all still planning on June 29 - July 6th. I’d like to start a PM thread with all going with this group.
We just booked the same condo we stayed at last Time at Bimini Sands from June 29th to July 6th. Hopefully we can get a couple other vessels from JB.net to tag along. View attachment 230695
We will be there for the 1st time June 26th through July 2nd weather permitting for my 40th Birthday. Would love to sync up with some fellow jet boaters

Looks like the"bimini challenge" group i was following for this weekend is starting to say 2 foot or less and 12mph or less as the rule and with the thunderstorm brewing that shows no go until Saturday afternoon.

That wind is looking rough, but still a few days for things to change (crossing my fingers for you guys). Sat is barely sliding into my "go" threshold. Here's my notes on the weather - obviously worth as much as you paid for it lol. After our first crossing my mantra has been that the bar, beach and pool is plenty nice at the Bahia Mar, I don't need to kill myself pounding waves for 4 hours...
Weather limitations
Wind speed -ideally <10, less than ideal <15, painful <20. No go 15+ for any sustained amount of time. Direction- not from the north - typically from the east (which means when you get to bimini you are in the lee of the island) Wave Height - ideally less than 2. Less than ideal 2.5. >2.5 gets iffy. Frequency - depends on wave height - the longer the better. 3 or less not good, 4-5 getting better, 6-8 good, 8+great (3x wave height is preferred)
Also I saw a little while ago someone asked about a packing list - just a few things that I had noted that could jog anybody's memory. Not all inclusive, just the stuff that I knew I could forget.
