My latest video "Boat Battery Basics" is a short video covering information helpful to any boater, check it out! I also cover a great new product you're going to love:

Thank you Dave, much appreciated.

I live in southern CA and boat primarily in the desert (as odd as that sounds) and my battery at the beginning of this season finally after 8 years has decided to retire. I take the battery out of the boat after every outing, top it off as needed with distilled water and place it in a tender. Those Lok Knobs are going to be awesome! Thanks for the tip.

Thanks, good info.

Gotta love the HF multimeter that shows different voltages when you pick it up and set it down (8:50). Definitely not a precision instrument but it gets you in the ball parks which is good enough (I have the same one).

Based on the all caps - this is not must see, this is a product push/please view my youtube channel push.

Another great video Leon!

Sounds like you have things under control, yeah the lok-knobs are great, enjoy!

Auburn, you win the most observant! I only saw that when editing and questioned what is going on. I never saw it do that before, great going!

Nah Adrian, I honestly couldn't care less if the knobs sell. I paid for them and get absolutely nothing for showing them. So far I'm finding them to be worthwhile, and like many products I enjoy, I share my experiences with fellow yamapeeps and other boaters.

@Leojay Are those spin off knobs USCG approved for battery terminals? Wing nut type fasteners are considered "temporary" not a permanent nut and not approved for wire #6 guage and smaller #'s, larger wires to equipment. Here is a recent deficiency report from a USCG inspection. https://jetboaters.net/threads/battery-issues.41306/page-2#post-651025

Another great video, just concerned about the battery terminal fasteners not being used per the regs.
