I have boat for 8 yeas, it's 2012 limited - ice always worked. This time its not happening.
The picture shows what I did.
need 4x2 - long one, 4x4 block.
I put all my weight on the other end - I was pretty much sitting on the 4x2. Both plugs came out smoothly/slowly. No need for low jack.

When you get them all straightened out be sure to put a set of these on the plugs to prevent blowouts. Cobra EZ-Locks
 
How often do you take them out?? Mine were rebuilt 4+yrs ago and still come out like they’re new.

That cleanout tray points to every 8 years, whether they need to come out or not! ?
 
I had some that would stick as well. I rebuilt them and then never had a problem after that. I took them out about three times a year when I detailed the boat.
