I can’t decide on 190 vs 195

Get the AR over the SX. I love the tower and the layout on the AR.

As for newer 190 vs older 195. I’d go newer.

Okay. My main concern was whether or lot I need the extra power from the supercharger. We don’t really wakeboard so I don’t think the tower is a major need for us. Just looks cool haha

Different strokes for different folks, but if I was boating with 4 - 7 people it would at least be on a SX210 or AR210.

Seriously?

But the boat with the SC, you’ll be glad you did.

You need more space. Even a 21' is gonna be tight with 7 people. I'd look for a 24 or 25 foot.

I have the 2017 SX190 and 4 people is ok - no way 7 & tubing though. That would be a slug.

Unfortunately, boats can be degraded quickly by corrosion or poor maintenance. I would err on the side of newer.

We have a 2024 AR 220 and its rated for 10 people but I'll tell ya 6 people AND a tube is pretty cramped. And the 190 / 195 is 4" narrower then our boat at 8'2 vs 8'6.

We have a 2020 SX190 and for Me and my Wife it is great. We came from a Seadoo Sportster 155 and I don't miss the extra speed (46mph). No one we boat with, including us, likes cruising above 25-27 anyway. Top speed is 34mph at 1,000ft above sea level and it comfortably seats 4, occasionally 6. The dual captains chairs are superior to the bench seat for a couple and they can be rotated at anchor to create a conversation area. It is cheap, fun, and low maintenance. The money you save on the supercharger, you can put towards SeaDek and the stereo.

The tower does look cool, though. I chose to add the chrome gas cap cover and horn cover from the 195 for aesthetics. If you're considering a supercharged single engine, you should probably just step up to the twin engine naturally aspirated models.
