Jet buckets

Hi I have a 2024 Yamaha FSH model H is there a way to lower the jet buckets without the engines running,thanks

I believe you can start the engine put it in reverse and then shut it off if not you can release the coupler on the end oif the cable and let the bucket go down free of the cable just be sure to reconnect it after you do that.

Thanks I did that but the buckets goes right up

Ok try starting the engines put the controls in reverse leave them in reverse and turn off the engine then quickly turn the key back to the on position but do not hit the start position just the on position see if that works

What would happen if you turned off both battery switches with the motor running while in Neutral or Reverse?
