New boat owner-quick question

I just purchased a 2025 222xe. I am doing my due diligence before I go out on the water and I can not find any information in my manual or on the internet what this white ring with the black cap with a screw in it is. Any insight is appreciated. See attached picture.

Scupper valve. Drains from the rear of the cockpit out that if you have water in the bow or cockpit.

Or, the drain for the self bailing deck.

You know, I’m not sure how many people appreciate the self bailing deck…. Most smaller pleasure boats don’t have self bailing decks, all the deck water goes into the bilge and gets pumped out.
