Here is my version of the eternal transducer mounting question. My installer convinced me I didn’t want just 1 transducer hanging below the boat so 2 it is. Garmin sells Y-cable just for this purpose. It is my understanding that Simrad/Lowrance no longer do. The brackets are “adjustable jack plate mount” from BFE (Bass Fishin Electronics). They come in port and starboard models and judging by price are made of pure unobtanium. I was surprised at location directly in front of the jets but the guys at SonarPros spent time trying things and this works well.

Really happy with the clarity. The one picture shows the underwater lanes of boat ramp very clearly.

If you didn’t know, the main reason for the two transducers is to have good side scan on both sides of the boat. At least that’s my understanding.
