We like it. We rarely boat anywhere else. We are supposed to be at Patoka this weekend, but are considering staying home with the current forecast. The lake is extremely high right now, as I’m sure Patoka is too.
We'll be on the water at Patoka for certain on Saturday. Sunday we will play by ear with the weather. We're only about 45min from Patoka, so it's no big deal to have the boat hooked and ready, then call it off on account of weather and just stay home.

Our annual pizza sunset cruise with Jim Wood of Bull Shoals Lake Wood’s Landing Resort.
Jim was a barefooting and trick ski pioneer in the 50s!
He’s slowing down but still loves to teach. Taught our kids to ski, and they always come for more!
One of the coves we found tucked way off the main channel on Smith Lake. Had to go through a long no wake zone to find it but we never saw another boat or big roller come rocking us around. It was very peaceful back there!
My brother-in-law on the long ride back to the ramp
Rented my 19 AR190 out and hopped on my buddy’s Axis and wake surfed for the first time on a “real” wave. I’m hooked now. Was able to go ropeless for a a little bit. Now I’m determined. Looking at buying the swim deck bag for the 190.

Sunday afternoon we hung out at party cove. The water was 78° so not too bad. Saw quite a few other Yamahas anchored around the cove but didn't get a pic of them.
Awesome weekend of tubing, a very busy beach and some dinners on the boat! Last pic is the boat all cleaned up on the lift after a 2 hour detail and ready to go for the next outing!
