Funny that this is what people think of when I tell them my wife is deployed to Dominican Republic. She is inland, was at a town called Azua, and now is in San Juan (not the nice San Juan on the coast). Those towns are pretty rough!
This a wheel chair one of their patients showed up in, the locals start lining up at their gate the night before to get seen by medical.

No pants due to potty training. Coat and mittens but it's over 60 out. Rain boots due to mud.

Not bad for a tow pig. Trip back from @robert843 's house today. Would've been alot better had I stayed out of the go pedal a bit.

What is the distance from top of door to ceiling? (Rough opening). What is the clearance for the garage tracks up there?

If its a finished ceiling i cant umagine an opener fits up there (?)

Nice job! Stick w/yamaha

Same here bro. Already on the schedule for my roofer to inspect the house Tuesday. My kids new Kia Optima has a few dings in it. That was some scarry shit hitting the house. The freakin dogs were going nuts.

The ceiling is open in our garage. the rafters are 9 foot 2 inches from floor. The garage door opening finished is exactly eight foot. The opener actually does fit below the rafters. If we have a problem with the opener we will end up removing it and going with a jackshaft which is the opener that goes on the front wall. We have about 6 inches of clearance from the door when opened to the rafters

perfect, thank you. I started on my detached garage last week and as I start to think about what I may have overlooked this was one item. I have an 8ft tall door and ceilings will be little more than 9ft. I was planning to use a jackshaft opener. http://www.northshorecommercialdoor.com/li85wamogado.html
