@J-RAD , I like how you combined short video clips and still pics in your post.

FYI - I took my son to our first monster jam a few years ago, it was at a small venue as well. At least you knew enough to bring or buy hearing protection for your boys. Mine son and I didn’t have any, ended up having difficulty hearing and spoke loudly to everyone for a day after the event.

If we go again it will be at a bigger outdoor venue where the monster trucks can race each other around a track instead of just do short jumps and / or drag race for 50 yards.
I have been to several arena Monster Truck events that have been very entertaining. Last year I decided to go to one of the stadium events because it would be so much better with more space to run and jump. Nope....not better at all, it was actually a sleeper compared to the smaller arena shows.

Interesting. We’re going in STL in 2 weeks. Taking each of the 3 kids (individually) out on a date night with Mom and Dad for Christmas this year. So far we’ve been to Wicked (flat out awesome show, again) and Disney on Ice. Monster Jam is going to be the last show.

I was hoping that we would cut back on gift buying, too... but I’m not sure that actually occurred.

Looks like we have some bad weather coming...

Na, that's just a train coming at ya.

I saw 56°f yesterday out tapping the trees, that melted the snow, rain started about 3pm, snow is all gone again and replaced with a coating of ice this morning. This rose bush is covered.

Only way down off the hill right now is with tire chains. After the freezing rain stops I will use the salt/sander on the road.

We got a dusting yesterday, had some nice big flakes falling and ground was completely covered after an hour, it was gone by the evening

Funny, I gotta do this next time I am on a rocky beach. He's got some stones to lay there like that.

Our 6th Chocolate Run (5k, 10k and 15k fun run in Golden Gate Park, SF). Part of the $60 fee, $15 bus fare and $13 parking fee went to the make a wish foundation I assume everything is else went into some deep non profit pockets.

i remember getting a box of random blocks when I was a kid. Now some models are programmable and/or come with a novel/instruction manual.

That means it is time to go connect the plow to the tractor.

The view from the site of our next cabinet project is pretty spectacular! Traverse Ridge, looking south over Utah County & Utah Lake.
