Saw this while shopping at GoYards with my wife. What do you think it sells for? A little hint the optional strap is $510. I wondered how the store stayed in business, until I left it. The last pics are taken from the Hermes store, my wife asked me if I wanted anything, I quickly relied, “Hell no.”

A test set up of our Clam ice fishing shanty. It’s a nice little pop up.

Whatever happened to drilling a hole on the ice and sitting on a bucket lol. My uncle has a custom shanty with a generator, wood burning stove, and Direct TV. I do agree getting out of the wind makes a world of difference.

Ya, we got a bucket seat too, lol.

Todays gift of home ownership, a broken garage door opener. I went from an old 1/2hp screw drive to a 3/4hp belt drive, with Wi-Fi and notifications to my phone. Some slight retrofitting, but all working and SO much quieter.

Boat was covered just in time and I got the motorcycle inside the house. Now to plan my next adventure: Bogota, Colombia -> Medellin, Colombia -> Sao Paulo -> Rio de Janeiro. All one way tickets. Ideally I won't come back to USA until April or May. I hope everything works out ?

That’s one hell of a plan!

Worked on putting the sled engine together. Just need to add coolant, gas and test run it before I put the hood back on.

Wait a minute! You sold the plow but are keeping the sled? Not enough white stuff in Alabama for that either, unless you take up watercross. Your gonna have too much fun, lol.

Just waiting on the 5-8” of snow and blizzard conditions to test it out later in the week. Figured you’d come buy it after that. ?

I could have used your sled or my skates to get to my boat today. I forgot my drill charger on the boat and needed to start tapping trees this week. Pretty slick walk, but worth it.

I feel like someone should paint Cheney next to the "BUSH" on that other empty sailboat skid.

Just ate at a ramen place which played a video of the food they offer being prepared. Bukkake kept coming up in the subtitles. My wife wanted to know what it meant so I looked it up because she didn’t believe my definition. Turns out we were both right. See the third definition below.

Well, I bought a truck.......Sort of. Deal isn't done yet, but it'll probably go through. Talking to my Dad this morning and he's tired of dealing with it, and is looking at leasing a base model Tacoma. Dealership was gonna give him $2k for it, told him that felt cheap as hell. Said he'd offer me the same deal. So, here we go.

'02 Silverado with the 2wd/4.3 V6/4L60 Auto drivetrain. 189k miles. He bought it brand new in '01 for $12.5k and has driven it like the grandpa he is. Has some rust spots here and there, but is overall in good shape. HVAC has some issues to deal with. Can't change temperature or destination of air (no defrost, no A/C, etc). Figure I can work on it in the spring and sort that. Might let it sit at camp for a few years.

Figure I can keep it a few years and do truck stuff with it. Then have it around for my oldest as his first car (he's 11 now).

The heat/AC blend door actuator above the gas pedal is most likely the diverter problem. Same thing happened on my 06 2500.

He's had a shop replace a couple things. He said they wanted like $750 to diagnose any further and he's on visit #5 for the issue. I want to say he told me the actuators are working, and the controls are working, but nothing changes. I had a '99 S10 that a blend door that physically broke with similar symptoms. Was a junkyard part for $15 and a weekend worth of pulling the dash apart to replace/repair it. Figure this is likely something similar. He's flustered at it because he lives in mid-Illinois and can't drive to work without defrost.

I think he's lost luster with it as well. He bought a gently used Pontiac Solstice this past spring and it's been getting polished and stored in the garage under a car cover all year. This pickup doesn't have near the luster of the new convertible, and he just wants to get to work and back and not deal with a second project car.

He retires in two years, and the local Toyota dealership has a RCSB base model Tacoma they'll lease him for something stupid cheap like $250/mo. Said he's gonna do that until he retires and just give the keys back and walk away when the lease is up. I get that.

My ‘03 Chevy avalanche developed a similar problem, per you tube I just removed the related fuse for a few minutes to reset the system. This worked about half the time but I had to do it almost every time I used the climate control system. I eventually gave up as the truck was otherwise nickel and diming me with other issues, ended up selling it as is for a lot less than blue book. Chevy, never again unless it’s a Vette.
