My daughter and I were walking on the trail along Onondaga Lake looking for eagles, when this one flew over our heads...taking lunch back to the nest...

Then he ate the whole thing in front of his partner. This is what it looks like when I ask my wife if she wants some ice cream too, and she says no thanks...and then...

if you look closely, you can see part of the fish hanging below the branch under his right foot. I don't know how many times my wife and I have given each other those same looks!

Her..."really?"

Me..."what?"

This is what happens when you bring in the potted parsley plant before the first frost. Black Swallowtail butterflies in December.

did 60+ miles in the boat today.... Marvin Key... Best sand ever.... water was 76 degrees.. crystal clear...

broke my anchor light mast going under the shortest bridge on US1 in the keys... boat was flawless... did pick up some weeds following the outboard guys... quickly dispatched

filled the tank for the first time... took 35 gallons to top it off...

That is coming here. Running on the generator again. Lost power at 8am. 70mph gust at BTV. Putting a few more logs on the fire.

We’ve been pretty lucky in southern Delaware regarding this storm. It’s currently (10:20 am) 47 degrees, breezy, with a light rain. Rain should be ending in the next hour and temperatures are beginning to plummet. Forecast is 32 degrees by 1:00 pm, 19 degrees by 6:00 pm, with a low of 10 degrees by tomorrow morning!

Raining here and the temps are dropping through the 70's today gonna get COLD.. a frigid 62

When my folks retired to Florida, 25 years ago, Dad use to say that one of the reasons was that you didn't have to shovel rain!

I saw this at Costco last night. View attachment 192235
I don’t know much about the price of alcohol but $3,700 a bottle seems crazy too me. I was surprised to see this at Costco and assume since it’s at Costco this is the discounted price. Including tax here in NCAL the total would be just over $4k. It would have to be the antidote to some deadly poison or be from the fountain of youth before I would consider paying that much.

But, how many bottles did you buy? ?

He hates pictures haha.
Its 10F here in Long Island and I can't wait to get out! I planned my escape to Medellin Colombia Jan 13 and it's a 1-way ticket. I eventually want to make it to some beautiful beaches in Rio de Janeiro (my 2nd home the past few Winters).
